St Andrews Old Course Experience

Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay in St Andrews! Your organisation was just perfect. All four golf courses were fantastic. Very different from each other which made the experience even more interesting. 

The bunkers in Carnoustie, the very nice Castle Course with wonderful views, the magical - and windy - Old Course and finally the very pleasant Kingsbarns course. At each course we also got a remarkably welcome and useful information from the Marshall.
And not one raindrop during our stay. That should be underlined.

Having a room at the Old Course Hotel overviewing one of the most famous golf holes in the world and from were we could follow the very early and the very late players on the course was really nice. We visited the exposition hall in the hotel as well as the interesting Golf Museum. Realized that there’s still so much to learn about the beginning of the golf and St Andrews.

Thanks again to you and Gary for your great competence, professionalism and kindness. It was so nice meeting you. We also take the opportunity to send our warmest thanks to our driver, Martin. What a nice and friendly guy! 

No doubt we will recommend your agency to anyone who would like to have an exceptional experience at St Andrews!

Scotland Golf Tour Experience

It has been an outstanding experience working with Derek and the team at GHW Golf Tours. I have been involved in planning a number of trips for members at my club and have never had a better experience working with another travel group. Over the course of a two-year planning process, there are going to be changes and surprises that pop up.  Derek and the team at GHW Golf Tours always went above and beyond in helping us through various changes and always made sure we felt comfortable and taken care of. This was our first but will certainly not be the last time we will work with GHW Golf Tours.

Canavan Golf Tour 2023

Hi Derek and the team,

A big thank you to you and your team (Gary/Jack) for the organisation of the golf break, what a fabulous three courses we played, we all enjoyed all three and the quality considering the weather was very good. All people we met at the clubs were very helpful and friendly, my French pals were taken back how relaxed and helpful everyone was. The weather played a big part but in fact it was better that forecasted, just the last day being the worse, but hey that what’s links golf is all about end of October. 

The Watchman Hotel was excellent, great food, beer and rooms and again the people so friendly, if we came back to the area we would look at staying as it was perfect for the local courses in East Lothian region.

So thanks again and of course when visiting you area in the future we would be more than happy to contact you once again. All the best and see you next time around,

Ireland Golf Tour 2023

Just wanted to send a quick email to let you know we were all very happy with the trip to Ireland... outstanding time. The luxury van which was provided was quite comfortable and the driver, Canis Foley, was top notch. There were no mix-ups to report as the trip ran smoothly from start to finish.  Thank you for your help and I will be in touch at some point in the near future to discuss options for a follow-up trip to Scotland, as we previously spoke about.
